330			_aThe Greek Archdiocese of North and South America has set as its primary objective the religious education of our younger generation. In furtherance of that goal it has encouraged and supported the Greek Orthodox youth movement and has provided for the first time within the confines of the Archdiocese trained personnel to coordinate and service the activities of our boys and girls. An essential medium in the religious instruction of youth is the establishment and maintenance of properly supervised Catechetical Schools. Their proper functioning requires suitable books, manuals and materials. Greek Orthodoxy has been fortunate that in 1926 Rev. Constantine Callinicos, who was then the rector of the Greek Community in Manchester, England, prepared an excellent catechetical guide entitled "Greek Orthodox Catechism" for the use of the Greek Orthodox communities in Northern and Western Europe. This was published in London by His Eminence, Gerrnanos, the late Metropolitan of Thyateira, and was distributed widely. Contents in Three Parts: Dogmatical, Ethical, and Ceremonial.
